Knitter's Block

Blocking is the magic that takes your knitting from good to great and this compact and portable kit includes everything you'll need to do it well!

• 18 interlocking, fiber-topped, EVA foam tiles, each measuring 12" × 12"
• 40 stainless steel t-pins
• 48" square cotton woven cloth with 1" square gingham to help measure your finished piece
• A sturdy jute bag to contain the kit

The very low, lightly barbed pile fabric covering gently grips your knitting without pilling or leaving fibers. The blocks can be assembled in a variety of sizes from a square for sweater pieces, a long rectangle for scarves, or a triangle for shawls. The thick backing of waterproof EVA is suitable for use on any surface since moisture won’t seep through and it holds the pins firmly in place. The blocks are formamide and formaldehyde-free and heat resistant which is essential for steam blocking.
